It features a six and a half-inch 300 Blackout MCX barrel, the SRD 762 TI AI long titanium suppressor, Lancer handguard, LA5 for dual vision night optics, Wilcox Riser with a 410 mount, AimPoint T2, and the Geissele MCX trigger. The MCX’s ability to fire folded is a fantastic feature, allowing for quick deployment without worrying about the stock reciprocating. It’s relatively lightweight and exceptionally accurate, providing great flexibility in various scenarios.
Ammunition Options: Let’s discuss the ammunition options available for 300 Blackout, both supersonic and subsonic. Range supersonic ammo typically falls in the 124 to 147 grain range, offering more felt recoil and a louder report due to its supersonic nature. In hunting supersonic rounds, you’ll find options around 110 grains, such as the 110 V-Max, 110 TSX, or the new Hornady 110 CX bullets.
For subsonic hunting, you can choose from a range of options, including the 190-grain Hornady Sub X, which is known for its exceptional accuracy. You can also find projectiles in the 200 to 230-grain range, with 200-grain being popular for range shooting due to its affordability. Ammo like the SMB 200 grain provides quiet operation and decent accuracy, making it suitable for various applications.
